DayBloom: Celebration
A warm little app that keeps the dates that make family feel close.
DayBloom helps you remember birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, and the small celebrations that matter most. Save the date once, get a friendly nudge a week before it arrives, and never send the “sorry I forgot” text again.
- Local-onlyData stays on your device
- Friendly nudgeOne week before each celebration
- Contacts opt-inPermission asked only when needed
Built around the moments that build the relationship.
DayBloom started with a small problem and a strong feeling: the dates we forget are the ones the people we love remember most. The app exists to make those moments easier to honor — without maintaining another spreadsheet, calendar, or social network.
Tap Add date and type the details, or tap Ask by text to send a friendly message to people in your contacts asking which days they'd like you to remember. iOS schedules the reminder. Everything stays on your phone.
A clean dashboard, a quick add flow, and a friendly request screen.
Three real iPhone screens that show DayBloom in everyday use.

What DayBloom does, in plain language.
Save the dates that matter
Birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, and any family date you don't want to lose. Add a name, a relationship, and a celebration type.
Ask family directly
The “Ask by text” flow opens a friendly pre-written message to send to anyone in your contacts. They text the date back, you save it, done.
Local one-week nudge
iOS schedules a local reminder one week before each saved date. No remote push, no servers — the alert lives on your phone.
Date-not-set is okay
Don't know the exact date yet? Save the person anyway. DayBloom flags the entry as “needs date” until you fill it in.
Send wishes from the app
Each person card has a quick “Send birthday wishes” action, so you can fire off a message the moment the day arrives.
Notes for gift ideas
Every celebration has a notes field for gift ideas, traditions, or last year's plan — so you don't start from scratch.
Your dates stay on your phone.
DayBloom is designed to remember what matters to you, not to collect data about you. No account, no advertising or third-party analytics SDKs, and celebrations are stored locally in the app sandbox.
- Local-only data. Saved celebrations live in the app on your device.
- Contacts opt-in. Contacts are accessed only when you tap Select Contact, and only for the ones you choose.
- Local notifications. Reminders are scheduled by iOS — no remote push servers.
- No analytics SDKs. The current build includes no third-party advertising or analytics SDKs.
