Torque Shop OS
Diesel shop management software that puts the whole shop on one board — estimates, work orders, parts, and technician hours tracked from first quote to paid invoice.

Torque Shop OS is diesel shop management software built around a single drag-and-drop board. Every job moves from estimate to in-progress to invoiced in one place, so the shop always knows what is on the floor and what it is worth.
The challenge
What needed to change
Most diesel shops run on spreadsheets, paper tickets, and memory. Estimates live in one place, parts in another, technician hours on a clipboard — so nothing reconciles, jobs stall without anyone noticing, and margin is impossible to see until the end of the month.
The solution
What I designed and built
- A drag-and-drop workflow board with color-coded stages — Estimate, In Progress, Invoiced — so the whole shop is visible at a glance.
- Unified service orders that carry one record from estimate through work order to invoice, plus counter sales with print-ready invoices.
- A parts inventory catalog that feeds every ticket automatically, and a technician "My Work" queue with built-in time tracking.
- A financial dashboard for revenue, costs, and profit margin, with payroll integration and QR scan-to-pay on invoices.
- One-click import from legacy shop systems, and a tablet-friendly layout built for use on the shop floor.
The outcome
Where it landed
Shops get off spreadsheets and onto one board — faster ticket turnaround, accurate technician hours, and margin they can actually see. Live in production, and a natural companion to AutoFleetOS on the fleet side.
