ChartGone AI is an operations platform for home-health clinicians — physical, occupational, and speech therapists who drive between patients all day. It plans the route, captures the note by voice, and files the chart, so the clinician can focus on care instead of paperwork.
The challenge
What needed to change
Mobile clinicians lose hours every week to two invisible tax lines: inefficient driving between visits, and evening charting they do from the couch. Existing EMRs handle records but do nothing for the day itself. The product had to feel effortless on a phone in a driveway, and it had to be trustworthy with protected health information.
The solution
What I designed and built
- Smart daily route optimization using real driving times, with plain-language AI explanations of why a stop was ordered where it was.
- Dictate-or-type visit notes captured right after each appointment, while it is still fresh.
- An admin review lane that files finished notes into Kinnser, Axxess, or TherapyBoss.
- Automatic mileage and revenue tracking, plus route delivery over SMS or Telegram.
- HIPAA-compliant encrypted storage, installable to the home screen as a mobile web app.
The outcome
Where it landed
The result is a calm, single-purpose tool: plan the day, capture the note, skip the charting. It ships on two tiers and is live in production today.
